Cascatas\/Waterfalls, j\u00e1 finalizadas no meu Game Engine em C++&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As minhas novas waterfalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e1 dias partihei um v\u00eddeo no meu website com um &#8220;rascunho&#8221; de como ficariam as minhas cascatas agora, porque se virem nos v\u00eddeos antigos, estavam horr\u00edveis, eram apenas tiles ocupados com \u00e1gua e onde nasciam bolhas de ar ao passarmos por elas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E isso deixava muito a desejar, por isso h\u00e1 dias fiz a primeira parte do processo, que era meter cores mais bonitas, e fazer com que as cascatas fossem desenhadas automaticamente no jogo de acordo com a \u00e1rea que ocup\u00e1vamos no mapa:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"http:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2023-11-09-Improved-Waterfalls-in-my-Cpp-Game-Engine.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Isto porque eu n\u00e3o podia ter as cascatas a serem desenhadas em tempo real, pois bastava um tile com \u00e1gua e a \u00e1gua escorreria por ali abaixo e ocuparia o n\u00edvel inteiro, e sendo assim, o criador do jogo \u00e9 que diz que tiles a cascata ocupa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com base nisso, ele detectaria se a cascata estaria a come\u00e7ar (num tile de \u00e1gua que n\u00e3o tinha nada \u00e0 frente e abaixo), ou se estaria em queda, ou se atingiria uma superf\u00edcie de \u00e1gua (para fazer a espuma).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nesse exemplo tinha j\u00e1 a curvatura de \u00e1gua no nascimento das cascatas (podem ver que a onda curva e come\u00e7a a cair, o que acho engra\u00e7ado, e a no\u00e7\u00e3o de movimento durante a queda da cascata:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2023-11-09-Improved-Waterfalls-in-my-Cpp-Game-Engine-Clean-Water-Waterfall.gif\" alt=\"2023-11-09 - Cascatas em \u00e1gua l\u00edmpida no meu Game Engine em C++...\" class=\"wp-image-2807\" width=\"547\" height=\"411\"\/><figcaption>2023-11-09 &#8211; Cascatas com muita espuma no impacto no meu Game Engine em C++&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>No exemplo acima, a parte em que estamos com muitas cascatas, podemos ver que o game engine at\u00e9 detecta que apesar de existir uma queda de \u00e1gua \u00e0 direita, ele sabe que n\u00e3o tem nada abaixo e h\u00e1 uma queda a\u00ed que se junta \u00e0 outra, est\u00e1 tudo pensado ao pormenor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No geral essa parte n\u00e3o estava m\u00e1 de todo mas eu tinha usado bolhas de ar normais para criar o movimento da \u00e1gua em queda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 de notar que at\u00e9 fica f\u00e1cil dar o efeito da \u00e1gua a passar por pequenas fugas que possam existir, e que fica altamente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2023-11-09-Improved-Waterfalls-in-my-Cpp-Game-Engine-Waterfall-through-a-hole.gif\" alt=\"2023-11-09 - Cascatas a iniciarem em pequenas fugas no meu Game Engine em C++...\" class=\"wp-image-2809\" width=\"547\" height=\"307\"\/><figcaption>2023-11-09 &#8211;
