{"id":3207,"date":"2023-12-23T20:00:20","date_gmt":"2023-12-23T20:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/?p=3207"},"modified":"2024-11-24T22:17:31","modified_gmt":"2024-11-24T22:17:31","slug":"2023-12-23-armas-de-raios-de-energia-ja-a-destruir-inimigos-no-meu-game-engine-em-c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/2023\/12\/23\/2023-12-23-armas-de-raios-de-energia-ja-a-destruir-inimigos-no-meu-game-engine-em-c\/","title":{"rendered":"2023-12-23 &#8211; Armas de raios de energia j\u00e1 a destruir inimigos, no meu Game Engine em C++&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Agora sim j\u00e1 tenho as armas a causar destrui\u00e7\u00e3o total nos inimigos (tive mais umas horinhas livres), comecemos pelo meu exemplo de plataformas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls loop src=\"https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Showing-my-Laser-and-Energy-Beam-Weapons-on-my-Cpp-Game-Engine-Platformer.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de partirmos para as &#8220;technicalities&#8221;, e antes de vos mostrar o v\u00eddeo completo de plataformas, deixo o v\u00eddeo no Shoot Em Up de testes, para quem queira ver, e onde podem ver que decidi neste caso espec\u00edfico deixar a arma sinusoidal ter poder para eliminar as pr\u00f3prias balas (estilo a circular do R-Type) mas os lasers n\u00e3o:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"http:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/2023-12-23-Laser-and-Energy-Bolt-Weapons-already-making-damage-on-my-Cpp-Game-Engine-Shoot-Em-Up.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Vamos come\u00e7ar por verificar que, quando um inimigo \u00e9 atingido, n\u00e3o \u00e9 logo destru\u00eddo, eu defino quanto \u00e9 que cada p\u00edxel em contacto, por cada frame passado, destr\u00f3i na nave ou objecto inimigo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por isso podem ver abaixo em c\u00e2mera lenta, que \u00e0 medida que o raio vai passando (aqui est\u00e1 com frames cortados), a energia do inimigo vai decrescendo aos poucos, at\u00e9 chegar a zero, altura em que explode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podem ver tamb\u00e9m que enquanto o raio passa por eles, eles t\u00eam um efeito engra\u00e7ado, vejam:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"804\" height=\"224\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/2023-12-23-My-Laser-and-Energy-Beam-Weapons-on-my-Cpp-Game-Engine-in-Slow-Motion-on-a-Turret.gif\" alt=\"2023-12-23 \u2013 Armas de raios de energia j\u00e1 a destruir inimigos, no meu Game Engine em C++\u2026\" class=\"wp-image-3210\" style=\"width:1139px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">2023-12-23 \u2013 Armas de raios de energia j\u00e1 a destruir inimigos, no meu Game Engine em C++\u2026<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>O efeito acima era para desenhar raios el\u00e9ctricos na nave atingida, mas como trabalho (por vontade pr\u00f3pria) sempre com um port\u00e1til que ronde os 500\u20ac, dos que t\u00eam s\u00f3 8GB, e alguma lentid\u00e3o (al\u00e9m de fazer em Linux e o meu IDE ser o simples CodeBlocks), para me for\u00e7ar a escrever c\u00f3digo optimizado e para mostrar que o segredo de bom c\u00f3digo est\u00e1 no programador e n\u00e3o em m\u00e1quinas potentes (diz-se que &#8220;existem dois tipos de programadores: os que sabem programar e os que sabem usar IDEs&#8221; e eu sou dos primeiros :)), decidi cortar esse efeito para n\u00e3o consumir tanto CPU e manter os FPS altos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas o c\u00e1lculo da colis\u00e3o \u00e9 super exacto, eu defino quanta percentagem de dano causo \u00e0 nave, por cada p\u00edxel de raio que est\u00e1 em contacto com ela, por cada frame passado (tipo 1\/60 segundos em 60 FPS por exemplo), e apesar de aqui verem isto aos saltos por ser um gif, ela vai decrescendo minhentas vezes, um bocadinho em cada frame, at\u00e9 chegar ao 0 e explodir:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"474\" height=\"287\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/2023-12-23-My-Laser-and-Energy-Beam-Weapons-on-my-Cpp-Game-Engine-in-Slow-Motion.gif\" alt=\"2023-12-23 \u2013 Armas de raios de energia j\u00e1 a destruir inimigos, no meu Game Engine em C++\u2026\" class=\"wp-image-3215\" style=\"width:1139px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">2023-12-23 \u2013 Armas de raios de energia j\u00e1 a destruir inimigos, no meu Game Engine em C++\u2026<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A destrui\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser assim de 1%, 12%, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 89, 100%, 200%, ou at\u00e9 15,5% por exemplo! Com precis\u00e3o de 6 decimais, poderia ser s\u00f3 de 0,000001% o dano causado! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notem acima no 3\u00ba inimigo, o que cai \u00e0 direita (desenhado por um amigo, o Vitor Bonif\u00e1cio, bem como os outros inimigos), mostra pelo menos 3 quebras na barra de sa\u00fade (health bar), mas na realidade foram mais, s\u00f3 que os frames foram cortados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podem reparar tamb\u00e9m que acima a torre de baixo resiste ao primeiro impacto, porque o raio toca-lhe nas pontas apenas, e fiz isso de prop\u00f3sito para ela poder resistir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notem que como tocou nas pontas (e como eu n\u00e3o defini muita for\u00e7a de destrui\u00e7\u00e3o), tanto o raio do meio como o de baixo (ambos nas pontas), s\u00f3 lhe tirou perto de um ter\u00e7o de energia, mas no segundo ataque tirou mais porque al\u00e9m do raio nas pontas, leva tamb\u00e9m com o da diagonal j\u00e1 n\u00e3o na ponta como antes, mas no meio da torre, o que o faz perder mais de dois ter\u00e7os da energia e perder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sim, \u00e9 mesmo calculado p\u00edxel a p\u00edxel, ao pormenor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Da\u00ed se o raio passar de frente por uma nave ou torre (com as actuais configura\u00e7\u00f5es), ela n\u00e3o resiste, mas se for s\u00f3 na diagonal ou nas pontas, tem chances de sobreviver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de prosseguir, fica um update de 2024, com um v\u00eddeo tirado sobre o post seguinte sobre este Shooter, quase um ano depois, com melhorias nas balas e colis\u00f5es e cujo link est\u00e1 no fim desta p\u00e1gina:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure actual&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mesmo assim, vejam a chacina que foi neste v\u00eddeo de testes de plataformas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"http:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/2023-12-23-Laser-and-Energy-Bolt-Weapons-already-making-damage-on-my-Cpp-Game-Engine-Platformer.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Pura destrui\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os raios &#8220;laser&#8221; (entre aspas porque lasers nunca seriam assim), aqui no n\u00edvel de plataformas causam tanta destrui\u00e7\u00e3o que est\u00e3o ao n\u00edvel da arma &#8220;Yaka Arrow&#8221; da personagem Yondu dos Guardi\u00f5es da Gal\u00e1xia (aquela seta teleguiada que destr\u00f3i tudo o que apanha pela frente).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e3o se preocupem, eu depois compenso com um v\u00eddeo mais natal\u00edcio e pac\u00edfico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 importante referir que tanto nos raios laser, como nos sinusoidais, os p\u00edxeis de cada um dos tr\u00eas raios conta um a um, em especial o raio real e n\u00e3o as sombras de luz que cada um dos tr\u00eas tem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mesmo assim, muito \u00e0 frente dos jogos habituais, em que basta um toque e \u00e9 logo tudo destru\u00eddo (como nos R-Types por exemplo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As armas foram baseadas, as sinusoidais, no ataque Special Beam Cannon da personagem Piccolo do Dragon Ball como mencionei no post anterior:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"485\"
