de tilesets, pois eu precisava de algo que me pudesse dividir uma imagem pr\u00e9-desenhada de um jogo, como o mapa do Batman the Movie da Ocean de 1989 (vers\u00e3o Amiga) que uso no n\u00edvel de Engine&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Seria um desperd\u00edcio de espa\u00e7o guardar a imagem assim por inteiro, o que ocuparia uns 20 MB de tamanho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por isso criei o software para dividir o mapa em tiles de qualquer tamanho, por exemplo de 32&#215;32 p\u00edxeis, e eliminando os repetidos, para poupar espa\u00e7o:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image Engine&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas isto n\u00e3o \u00e9 o ideal, pois o ideal seria que os tiles mais pr\u00f3ximos (mais semelhantes), estivessem juntos, para facilitar a compress\u00e3o e ocuparmos assim menos mem\u00f3ria ao armazenar o tileset no jogo em si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por isso na 2\u00aa imagem da imagem de topo, ou a seguinte abaixo, j\u00e1 podemos ver estes tiles ordenados, onde o meu software tentou manter os mais semelhantes juntos, de forma a que pudessem ser melhor comprimidos mais tarde pelo Game Engine e poupar assim espa\u00e7o no ficheiro bin\u00e1rio e na mem\u00f3ria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"416\" height=\"416\" ver, os tiles semelhantes est\u00e3o mais pr\u00f3ximos, e isto facilita \u00e0 compress\u00e3o, o meu software trata de os juntar consoante sejam mais semelhantes uns aos outros, quer em formas quer em cores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neste caso 32 p\u00edxeis \u00e9 bom, mas vou mostrar outros exemplos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com 64 p\u00edxeis n\u00e3o teria sentido, pois perder-se-ia espa\u00e7o h\u00e1 um enorme desperd\u00edcio de mem\u00f3ria, pois for\u00e7amos a que cada tile tenha 4 tiles de 32 p\u00edxeis, e por isso ficamos com um n\u00famero gigante de combina\u00e7\u00f5es de tiles, e em vez de termos tudo em 10 a 20 Kb, teremos algo de 150 KB, e com muito mais tiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00f3 o meti a t\u00edtulo de exemplo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deixo um exemplo de como ficaria com 16 compreens\u00edvel, mas poupa-se espa\u00e7o pois notamos que os tiles de 32&#215;32 p\u00edxeis, eram compostos por v\u00e1rios de 16&#215;16 p\u00edxeis iguais, e conseguimos assim ter ainda menos tiles, que misturados, constroem os de 32&#215;32 que usamos no jogo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com isto poupa-se mem\u00f3ria e espa\u00e7o no disco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vamos reduzir ainda mais para 8&#215;4 (Amiga Version), da Ocean&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Como podem ver, o de 64 p\u00edxeis \u00e9 um desperd\u00edcio, pois est\u00e1 a fazer combina\u00e7\u00f5es de v\u00e1rios tiles de 32&#215;32 (os originais), o que faz gastar espa\u00e7o estupidamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O de 32&#215;32 p\u00edxeis original, ocupa 21 KB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O de 32&#215;32 p\u00edxeis ordenado consoante a sua semelhan\u00e7a, j\u00e1 baixou para 16.6 KB, porque isso facilita os algoritmos de compress\u00e3o deflate usados pelo formato de compress\u00e3o PNG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O de 16&#215;16 p\u00edxeis, j\u00e1 baixa para 14 KB, o de 8&#215;8 p\u00edxeis para 12 KB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E o de 4&#215;4 p\u00edxeis para 3 KB!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parece brutal n\u00e3o?
