E na imagem podem ver uma fonte funcional que d\u00e1 para qualquer l\u00edngua Europeia, e que tentei adaptar o melhor poss\u00edvel para ser bonita, ali\u00e1s duas dessas fontes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"899\" height=\"142\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-06-08-Testing-my-new-Bitmap-fonts-on-my-Fractal-Explorer-using-Cpp.png\" alt=\"2026-06-08 - Testando as minhas fontes Bitmap a serem usadas nos meus menus GUI, Explorador de Fractais e Game Engine em C++...\" class=\"wp-image-4429\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-06-08-Testing-my-new-Bitmap-fonts-on-my-Fractal-Explorer-using-Cpp.png 899w, https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-06-08-Testing-my-new-Bitmap-fonts-on-my-Fractal-Explorer-using-Cpp-300x47.png 300w, https:\/\/www.goncalo.pt\/por\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-06-08-Testing-my-new-Bitmap-fonts-on-my-Fractal-Explorer-using-Cpp-768x121.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 899px) 100vw, 899px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">2026-06-08 &#8211; Testando as minhas fontes Bitmap a serem usadas nos meus menus GUI, Explorador de Fractais e Game Engine em C++&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Apliquei-a tamb\u00e9m ao meu Game Engine (que n\u00e3o precisa de fontes TTF), e notei uma subida de uns 800 FPS para uns 1200 FPS (aqui nota-se menos pois tenho a m\u00e1quina sobrecarregada), mesmo usando as minhas fontes de cache, porque o TTF era muito pesado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nas imagem podem ver que o Game Engine de cima tem as fontes TTF, que \u00e9 mais smooth porque tem partes das letras suavizadas por ser vectorial, e abaixo a minha bitmap font menos suavizada porque n\u00e3o \u00e9 vectorial. Mas penso n\u00e3o ter ficado mal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os FPS lembrem-se que se eu usasse por igual os 16 cores que tenho neste port\u00e1til barato, seriam n\u00e3o uns 1200 FPS m\u00e1ximos mas sim perto de 19.000 FPS. Claro que eu nunca usarei tantos cores para jogos retro, e nunca conseguimos distribuir totalmente a carga por todos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claro que isto \u00e9 apenas uma estimativa te\u00f3rica por escala linear simples: Pegar nos FPS de um core\/thread e multiplicar pelo n\u00famero de cores dispon\u00edveis. Na pr\u00e1tica, nenhum motor escala assim de forma perfeita, porque h\u00e1 sempre custos de sincroniza\u00e7\u00e3o entre threads, acessos \u00e0 mem\u00f3ria\/cache, partes do c\u00f3digo que continuam sequenciais, coordena\u00e7\u00e3o do render, sistema operativo, drivers, limites de largura de banda e muitos outros factores. Por isso n\u00e3o digo isto como valor real ating\u00edvel, mas como indica\u00e7\u00e3o de que a base do motor est\u00e1 bastante optimizada e que existe muita margem de processamento numa m\u00e1quina comum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outro problema \u00e9 que h\u00e1 sistemas de renderiza\u00e7\u00e3o que acabam por ficar limitados a um s\u00f3 core\/thread, o que baixa muito o limite real de FPS.
